Contributor Callouts:

Come write with us!

We’ve made a start, but we want your help to make the 107 blog the place to go for local arts news and interesting reads.

107 Projects is a not-for-profit, artist run space located in the heart of Redfern. We run a year-round creative program filled with exhibitions, performances, talks, classes and live music. With a vibrant community of artists, poets and creative thinkers who come through our doors, we believe we have a lot of interesting stories to tell. Our blog will be a space to do that.

Opportunities are available for regular contributors or one-off submissions. We encourage you to write what you are interested in – theatre reviews, opinion pieces, artist interviews, rants, drunken musings… The focus is on arts and culture, particularly local and independent, but don’t be limited there – your big ideas are what we are looking for!

Send us an email with your pitch or areas that you are interested in covering, along with a sample of your writing – it need not be published. No experience is necessary, just enthusiasm. Our ideal contributor will already know 107 and what we stand for, and be as passionate about this little project as we are!

Send your details to Amy at promo@107.org.au. Deadline for submissions is midnight, March 13.

Unfortunately, as we are a community of volunteers, we can’t offer payment for submissions at this time.
