Venue Host

107 Projects is looking for friendly, enthusiastic and experienced hosts to be at the heart of what we do.

The Venue Host position is a casual role and is suitable for those looking for flexible working arrangements. The role will cover:

  • Gallery Attendant: Oversee our gallery spaces, primarily in Redfern, from 11am to 5pm, Wednesday to Saturday. Duties include welcoming visitors, providing information about exhibitions, and ensuring the gallery is well-maintained.
  • Event Support: Assist with hospitality duties during events and private bookings, such as gallery openings, life drawing sessions, performances, and private parties. Responsibilities include bar service, basic cleanup, closing the gallery, and attending to the needs of hirers or artists.

Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) qualification is essential.

Ideal candidates will have excellent customer service skills and a passion for the arts. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
