Welcome to the crazy, quirky, creative space that is the 107 blog!

107 Projects is a not-for-profit community gallery in the heart of Redfern. We run a year-round program of events to enrich and enliven the Redfern community. We are inclusive – we encourage the creativity, originality and humanity in every person.

The 107 blog will be a place to share the stories of all the interesting individuals who come through our doors. It will be a place to celebrate local businesses and local events, and a chance to show you what goes on behind the scenes. Did you know we are home to some fantastic community organisations like The Bower, or that tucked away in the back are our studio spaces where our artists in residence are always working to produce brilliant new stuff?

We want to tell stories that are both small and large, whether it be the kind of story you might hear over a beer at the pub, or the sort of story that affects artists and makers all over the country. We want to talk about things that reflect the diverse nature and rich history of our surrounds.
