Marrickville grown Vex are launching their debut single 'Glitch' on the 107 Rooftop. The single was written in a damp garage, and they want you to hear that. The track screams honesty and is the doorway to an endless rabbit hole of contrasting influences.
Accompanying Vex are hand selected local artists with musicians spanning from Neo-Soul to Breakbeats to Rap.
Yasmina Sadiki and her band will be providing the Neo-Soul / Hip Hop grooves, whilst Loose will be allowing a sneak peak into the music behind closed doors. Yaboymarvo will be spinning some chill breaks and keeping your ears warm.
To round off the day with the freshest on-the-spot haircut, look no further than Newtown-based Dawestodoors... maybe he'll even cut live during a performance.
And don't forget, the rooftop will also host an art exhibition. Maya Barnstone will be showing us some of her finest paintings and Gianna Hewitt her finest photographs - it's a whole day all in one spot.
