The Bower Reuse and Repair Centre in partnership with Outreach, Sydney TAFENSW and Mission Providence presents: The Tiny House.

The Tiny House is a 20 week project in creative designing, upcycling, developing skills and tricks of the trades with 30 participants.

The exhibition also includes upcycled items and artworks from the Bower artists and project participants.

The Tiny House project is a symbol of a much bigger environmental education movement. We thank all the participants who have built it and acknowledge all the partner organisations that support it with their specialist services.

The Bower Reuse and Repair centre host this project in their 107 Redfern St workshop and supply discarded household items and building materials from landfill.

Sydney TAFE provides skill development and educational pathways through an Introduction to Trades course that introduces participants to safe work practices, hand tools, basic construction techniques, upcycled materials and eco renovation.

Mission Providence mange the Work for the Dole for 20 participants for 2 days a week for 26 weeks.

The City of Sydney provided the accommodation grant for us and 107 projects who have developed the facility.
