A breakup is a rupture from the known, the comfortable and the static. A turmoil resulting from a physical and/or emotional displacement of place, space, selfhood, time and intimacy guide these artists as they enter into their new territories. The works shown in this exhibition are both the artefacts of decaying bonds but also the result of aftermaths.
