Tao Shu Fa: Source Light Calligraphy

Master Carol Liu is this generation’s only lineage holder of Tao Calligraphy, a unique form of art therapy that blends the craft of writing Chinese characters in one long brush stroke with meditation and healing.

Learn how to harness the energy contained in the characters to enrich your life, connect with your soul and express love.

Liu combines meditation with writing in the tradition passed down by Liu’s mentor Master Zhing Gang Sha, who inherited the role in China from his own 100-year-old master, Li Qiu Yun, in a tradition dating back to Confucius himself.

In this three-day exhibition, view works by Master Sha and try it for yourself, with a program of free talks, meditations and calligraphy classes.
