Taming Space
Taming space is a new exhibition by T E A R Collective, exploring socio-spiritual and environmental themes and affective and experimental approaches to working in, with and from the environment.
The exhibition considers the shifting relationship between humanity and the natural world as well as historical and cultural influences shaping this engagement. How do we measure and understand our environment, how can we describe it, how do we attempt to tame space through metaphor, physical engagement and language?
Taming space explores personal, emotional, spiritual and cultural questions referencing human-environment exchange, experimental futures, spatiality, transition and transformation.
