SHORT FILM SOCIAL #1

The 1st Sydney Short Film Social competition will be coinciding with their Official Launch Party on Friday 6th December! Come down to celebrate and support Sydney's independent filmmakers and musicians as they showcase their talent and create a collaborative platform of artists that love doing what they do.

10 short films will be screened on the night with 1 lucky filmmaker walking home with a $1000 cash prize and one of Balcony TV Sydney's live music acts taking home a $500 Metro Screen award to help with the making of their next music video.

Sarah Bird
An accomplished Sydney based guitarist with an honest voice and an indie folk pop act with the promise of international success. Sarah is a two-time National 'Musicoz' Award Winner currently nominated for APRA's Professional Development Award and has just launched her debut album "Break of Bend" currently available on iTunes.

The Green Mohair Suits
Sydney based quartet of expressive songwriters formed in 2006 by Brian Campeau, Richard Cuthbert, Jason Mannel and Ben Romalis. They've recently played Jamgrass in Melbourne and Sydney, Newtown Festival and are set for Mullumbimby Music Festival at the end of November. Their 1st single 'We'll Surley Die' is currently available on iTunes and has been an audience favourite since July 2013 receiving spot rotation on Triple J
