Sebastian Roca – ‘Cold’ EP Launch

Sydney's own soulful hidden gem Sebastian Roca presents his latest EP 'Cold' with his band for the first time. Don't miss out on what promises to an unforgettable night of smooth and intimate sounds, with support from Roy Myers (Planet Placid Music)

Doors open at 7:00pm and the music will kick off at 7:30pm with Roy Myers playing a solo set of his own compositions accompanied by horn. His jazz infused lo-fi set promises to set the tone for the rest of the night. Sebastian Roca and his band will take the stage at 8:30pm and will be performing the upcoming EP 'Cold" in its entirety along with other tracks from his past Debut EP 'Parkview Demos'. Drinks will be served at the venue.

Sebastian Roca:

Sebastian Roca is a singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist based in Sydney finding the spaces between alternative music, jazz, and soul.

Taking inspiration from the likes of jazz crooner Chet Baker to bossa nova and latin fusion greats like Joao Gilberto and Jorge Ben, he began developing his own signature style. A fusion of down-tempo melancholic sounds mixed with subtle jazz inflections.

After gaining attention via early tracks uploaded to Soundcloud, his debut EP, 'Parkview Demos', was released via Nice Guys in 2018. The record made an immediate impact online, garnering over 6 million plays to date across Spotify, Apple Music and YouTube.

Roca’s sophomore EP 'Cold' is a reflection of his past, present and future, touching on the influence of his South American heritage and navigating life, love and confidence.
