Screen Printing on Paper

This event takes place at Joynton Avenue Creative Centre, Zetland.

Learn how to screen print in this fun hands on class for beginners. After an explanation about just what screen printing is, plus a look at all the ways to print, you will be shown how to turn an idea into an image that’s cut out of stencil paper then used to print up your very own design.

We will cover inks, papers, registration and you will learn everything you need to know to print your own paper goodies such as art prints, a notebook, greetings cards, gift tags and wrapping paper.

What you get:
A blank notebook, a set of 5 cards and envelopes, gift tags and some paper to make super cool art prints to take home hang on your wall and impress all your visitors! Plus there will be heaps of spare paper and card to print extras on.

What’s provided:
Everything! Just bring some ideas, although there will be plenty of pre-printed stuff to inspire you.

What to wear:
Something you don’t mind getting ink on, however aprons are provided.
