This is a fun free activity suitable for all ages ... little kids and big kids. All you need to do is grab a leaf and paint it with your wishes and dreams. These will be assembled to create one sculpture, a fig tree to celebrate the diverse and rich community of Redfern.

The project began a year ago when 107 Projects and The South Sydney Business Chamber collaborated to create an artwork that would reflect the diversity of the Redfern community. Today will realise the final community workshop in a series that has welcomed hundreds of people to paint their own fig leaf. Branding it with their own individual style and flair to create hundreds of unique hand painted leaves.

This work will then be displayed at 107 Redfern St as a 3d sculpture.
