Radical Parenting: Unpacking Racism

There are so many things that are pertinent to working toward racial justice - raising conscious children is one of those things. Ongoing discussion within our circles revolves around the space non-white children take up in white spaces, how we can all actively challenge and talk about racism in child-appropriate ways and how to build strong resilient children who can face and fight injustice.

This panel discussion will be an honest and open conversation about how we can collectively challenge the status quo while raising the next generation of resilient advocates.

The panel is open to anyone responsible for or thinking about taking care of children. We will look at how to explain privilege, teach tolerance and dismantle bias curriculums to build a framework for raising conscious children.

We won't come up with all the answers, but we hope to start a conversation that is a catalyst for genuine change and solidarity.

The second half of the event will be open to the audience, you are encouraged to submit your questions.
