Patchwork Dreaming is a multimedia performance for an Ensemble of Musicians, Dancers, Electronics and a Bush-Poet (E. Mongrel), which explores the complexities of a lost cultural heritage and Blackness in contemporary Australia. Narratives of identity and rediscovery are the stuff of this “patchwork” of Australia’s multicultural experience – an intersection, a cultural microcosm and its representation in music and visual media.
