Refine your Process | Strengthen your Technique | Explore your Onscreen Nuance

There's no role too small to bring your absolute all. Love, enthusiasm, chemistry, secrets: every character has a soul, every scene an arc.

As work picks up in Australia, onscreen excellence is paramount to your success as an actor. Our full-day workshop is a creative, professional, friendly and incredibly helpful way to keep the tools of your craft sharp. We cast you in contemporary television and film scripts and before the day give you a way to prepare for your scene so that you get the most out of the workshop. On the day we dive deep into embodying a character, analysing a scene and finding authenticity and connection under pressure. In a self-tape world it has never been more important to own your onscreen technique.

Nail it. Every time.

Call for EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST: FIRST NATIONS

Unearthing New Talent

The Performance Workshop is offering scholarships to First Nations actors who may struggle to cover the $250 registration cost.

If you would like to apply for funding, please email us at sarah@theperformanceworkshop.com.au with a one-minute video or written reply expressing your interest. Your video can be done on an iPhone – nothing too fancy. We are keen to unearth new talent so don't worry if you don't have much experience.
