Showcasing the diverse work of The Ozanam Learning Centre - participants who are or have experienced homelessness or being at risk of homelessness, alcohol or other drug adversities, mental health issues and/or living with a disability and they have found creating art their medium to tell their stories.

The OLC group exhibition aims to showcase the diverse work of OLC (The Ozanam Learning Centre) services users. The artists involved are or have experienced homelessness or being at risk of homelessness, alcohol or other drug adversities, mental health issues and/or living with a disability and they have found creating art their medium to tell their stories.

The diverse mediums used within the exhibition reflect the several art programs the group regularly attends, being: ceramics, bisque-ware glazing/decorating, screen printing, jewellery making, print making, drawing and painting. These programs are run weekly and provide each artist with an art studio to work in, all necessary materials and professional supervision by experienced artists. The process of art making is often collaborative and/or influenced by other members of the group, as the OLC Art Studio has developed into a small community of Sydney based artists who openly share their stories, experiences and personal and artistic endeavors in a creative and safe space.
