Drawing the Dancer
A semi-draped dynamic life drawing session, with live music, choreographed lighting… and a few gems from the mind and dressing room of the model. Long-time popular Sydney life model and noted dancer and writer Jaqi Pascoe dons and doffs a diverse selection from her array of jewels, veils, hats and robes – and vogues, dances, evokes and comments her way through two hours of spectacular poses, from 30 seconds to 15 minutes. Grab a drink and set up your easel for an overload of ideas, aspects and angles, deliciously lit and set to an eclectic soundtrack of world, funk, dub and dance music, mixed live by Alex Holver.
Artists are encouraged to bring the media of their choice and to be set up by commencement time.
Doors open 5pm.
