What if every single act of design and construction made the world a better place?

The Living Building Challenge™ - or LBC for short - is the world’s most rigorous proven performance standard for buildings. People from around the world use this regenerative design framework to create spaces at all scales that operate as cleanly, beautifully, and efficiently as nature’s architecture.

This event provides an overview of the LBC philosophy, program, and the components that make it the go-to tool that challenges the broader building industry to have the deep conversations required to truly understand how to solve problems rather than shift them, and does so based on proven performance rather than paper-based predictions.

In this event we will focus on the latest version of the LBC, designed as a streamlined approach to maximise positive impacts specific to the place, community, and culture of projects. We will share Australian and International case studies, as well as food and drink over networking.

The event is for everyone who can impact the development of the built environment, no matter the level of expertise in restorative design.

1. Understand the philosophy of the Living Building Challenge
2. Describe the key components of the program
