Performing for the first time in Eora/Sydney in six months, Hilary Geddes Quartet will be joined by special guest and double bass extraordinaire, Helen Svoboda on 29th September at 107. The night will also feature two incredible sets by jetrio and Chloe Kim - a very special and intimate evening of music, not to be missed!

Hilary Geddes is a guitarist, improviser and composer based on Gadigal land. She is the 2021 Freedman Jazz Fellow, a 2021 ABC Jazz Scholarship recipient, the 2019 recipient of the Jann Rutherford Memorial Award. Hilary is the bandleader of the Hilary Geddes Quartet, and released her debut album 'Parkside' (ABC Jazz) with the band in 2021. In the lead up to their upcoming show at this year's Melbourne International Jazz Festival, the band are honoured to be joined by musical wizard, 2020 Freedman Jazz Fellow and all-round grand person, Helen Svoboda.

jetrio are a neo-instrumental band with a unique sensitivity to ambience. The atmospheres they create evoke and juxtapose folkloric melodies alongside bouts of undulating rhythms. Their recording debut, jetrio: I is available now on Bandcamp.
