Them Heavy People – Brown Parents and Kids
How is it like being a brown parent in Australia? How was it like growing up a brown kid?
If you are anything like us, you have a lot of skeletons in that family closet. This isn't therapy but the next best thing.
Join us at 107 Projects on 24 April at 6:30pm, for Them Heavy People, a night of intimate storytelling and some delicious South Asian food. The first edition is stories of being parents and kids in this great white land.
On the night, we bring together four storytellers to each tell a true story of their own. Our favourite aunties 2 Boys In Saris will serve up some hearty tongue inspiring south Asian cuisine.
