Four Colour Halftone Risograph Printing Masterclass

This is an advanced risograph workshop. You must have participated in the Learn to Riso workshop as a prerequisite. We have a Learn to Riso class beforehand at 10am if you'd like to sign up to both on the same day.

In this class, you will learn the basics of colour separation (converting CMYK channels to risograph layers), halftone, screen angles, and how to prepare your files on Photoshop. You will then observe as we print a full colour image using four riso colours to produce a photorealistic effect.Together as a group, we will create a set of postcards. All participants are encouraged to create an artwork for a 4-colour riso print.

After the class, we ask you to email your print files to us and we will print a set of postcards. You will receive your own cards, as well as the other participants’ as a full set in the mail.

This workshop is great for anyone interested in combining photography and risograph printing, or simply seeking a deeper understanding of this printing technique!
