Grounded is a breakout exhibition by three current BFA honours students from UNSW Art & Design. Consisting of 2D and 3D artworks in the field of expanded painting, materiality and cloud-based imagery
Whether your head's in the sky or your feet are firmly grounded, this show activates the ether as a field of sensory exploration, allowing the particles of information which are both internal and external of the artwork to co-exist in itself. Here the DMZ (De-materialised zone) declares space through spatial relationships allowing the body and the mind to experience a figurative absence.
