This 1-2 day introductory course focused on summer colours and forms will cover many of the basic techniques for working borosilicate glass in the flame.

You will use an oxygen-propane torch to sculpt, join, stretch, blow, encase and mix colours.

The focus will be on fun and planning combined with improvisation to produce a variety of objects you can take home. Such as small abstract sculptures, vessels, wearable objects, animal and figurative forms, flowers, trees and other branching forms.
