Marie Healy and Inna Goubina connected through their work in Redfern and their love of animals.
Their works in various media reflect memories and places and personal journeys. Marie looks back on her late father’s passions with paintings and drawings of birds, along with historical collections. Inna’s global and personal journeys inspire her works in wool, which she sees as a live therapeutic medium. Inna works with the wool, combines themes, symbols, objects, colours that facilitate processes of inner healing, balance, personal growth and suggest calmness, safety and hope.
