DIY Beeswax Food Wraps

TYPE: WORKSHOP

SPACE: OUT THE BACK

WHEN: 6-9pm – 3 Aug 2017

COST: $50

Buzzing off the back of plastic-free July, we thought it would be best to keep you bees busy and inspired to continue the war on waste!

Up there with the most convenient and damaging of single-use items is cling-wrap. It has become a staple in our third draw and a flutter of worry wages when the roll is empty.

What if we told you there's a resuable alternative that uses oodles of good stuff, recycles fabrics and just looks funky?

Well there is and they're called Beeswax Foodwraps. There's a whole bunch of places that you can buy beautiful bundles of them, but we thought not everyone has the $$ for this stuff so why not spread the resourcesfullness and get you making your own?!

We'll be showing you how to blend up the igredients, provide the fabrics and knowledge to give it a go yourself and you'll leave with a couple to take home and try out!

Seaside Scavenge shall be hosting their first Beeswax Wraps workshop for 6 lucky souls. First in best dressed (literally! Come rugged up because it's gonna be chilly in the back shed of 107). To grab your spot please deposit $50 with your NAME and 'BEESWAX' in the description to:
