A Boomalli Exhibition at 107, Redfern

Congregate (Gather/Meet). The suburb of Redfern has always been a place for Aboriginal people to come together and meet each other. For many of our families who come from the bush into the city for work, Redfern is a safe place for Aboriginal people to stay while away from their homelands. Redfern is a place of significance for Aboriginal people's rights and the Aboriginal Self-Determination movement. It is also the birthplace of key Aboriginal organisations such as the Aboriginal Medical Service, Aboriginal Legal Services and Boomalli to name a few.

In this exhibition, artists will highlight memories made here, through great times, gatherings and meetings with family and friends.
