The images for Blackwattle were shot in the early hours of the morning using extremely long exposures. They depict the demolition of Blackwattle artists studios located at Glebe Point. Alongside this work will be the series Post Tense, shot using slow burning magnesium to light found flowers. The resulting images act as a last goodbye for these once cherished and now discarded symbols of beauty.
Just bring yourself and enjoy a drink.
Exhibition opens Wednesday 29th May | 6-9pm.
