Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea

Fern Events Projects works on local events and activations that focus on building a strong, inclusive local community. We engage with like-minded individuals, groups and local businesses who are passionate about seeing Redfern and surrounding suburbs become more inclusive, community-minded areas.

Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea seemed like the perfect opportunity to reach out to more local businesses to work together. Each business has committed to fundraise for the event, community services involved have allocated 1 hour during the day to present the morning tea with local businesses.

The Fern Events CEO, Adi Vaciseva Ratu Nale explains how the idea came about:

“Over the years, I noticed a lack of local businesses engaging with community services. To bridge that gap, I reached out to local businesses to see who was interested in raising funds then approached local community services to also participate by providing 1 volunteer for one hour to help the businesses promote the Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea. This event brings businesses together for a great cause.”

As well as the morning tea itself, there will be a cross-promotional campaign with the local businesses involved taking over social media and posting videos and messages of support for those battling cancer.
