ArtsLab: Body of Work

ArtsLab is a multi arts festival designed, created and performed by emerging artists. Supported by Shopfront Arts Co-Op, ArtsLab is an exciting program that showcases the best that young Sydney artists have to offer. Featuring gallery works, installations, performance and live music - this festival is not to be missed!

ArtsLab: Body of Work is a celebration of eight young artists creating exciting and bold new works.

Shopfront’s flagship Emerging Artist Residency once again culminates in a two-week long festival with works from eight emerging artists. Featuring an array of new works across theatre, interdisciplinary work, soundscapes, film, sculpture and music, artists will explore themes of friendship, adulthood, the female body, aloneness, the capitalisation of wellness, and social constructs.

Join us each night for three performances by Flynn Mapplebeck, Amelia Gilday and Ana Fenner, and Mina Bradshaw, then spend your time in between shows enjoying the gallery installations from Spacefloss and Jenna Lewis. Then on Saturdays get in on the ground floor with a staged reading of Ayah Darwich's film work.

Tickets are available in season pass form, giving you access to the full suite of shows and works on display, or in single work forms. The gallery and performance spaces are wheelchair accessible.

All individual show tickets are between $15 - $25 with access to the Gallery included in the price of a performance ticket.

Season Passes range from $40 - $70 for entry into three performance works and two gallery works.
