Come together with friends and family to create enchanting lanterns this Lunar New Year.
The City of Sydney and 107 Green Square invite you to a very special Art Somewhere lantern-making workshop to celebrate the Lunar New Year and Lantern Festival.
Use recycled household materials to create beautiful lanterns.
This creative hangout welcomes all levels, abilities and ages.
We’ll provide all the materials and supplies you need to make your own lantern, so feel free to just drop by and join us on the day.
After you’ve created your lanterns, stick around for more fun at Ruby's Summer Fiesta, part of SIMA's Jazz: Now summer festival. Pack a picnic, and join us on the grass for this family friendly event with tunes playing all arvo.
All lanterns made at the workshop will be exhibited at 107 Green Square from 15 February to 19 February, between 11am and 5pm. Or see them at the Lantern Festival celebration on 15 February, 6pm.
