Ange Lavoipierre is an award-winning journalist, writer, and comedian. She’s been a reporter and host at the ABC for more than 12 years, most recently anchoring the ABC’s inaugural daily news podcast, The Signal, for four years. This is Ange’s third original hour of comedy, and her sixth year on the international fringe and comedy festival circuit. Ange won a Best Comedy award at Adelaide Fringe Festival in 2019 for her debut show Final Form, and again in 2020 for her subsequent hour Zealot. She’s toured to Melbourne, Sydney, Hobart, Adelaide, Newcastle and Edinburgh with her own shows, and as the cello accompanist for acclaimed improv outfit Bear Pack (Steen Raskopoulos & Carlo Ritchie).
