Ever since the release of her debut single late in 2022, Adelaide’s aleksiah has been acquiring the love and support of fans at an astonishingly rapid pace. Taking cues from modern-day, female-identifying indie rock heroines including Phoebe Bridgers and Julia Jacklin she arrived on the scene with a level of maturity that sounds like she’s already on equal pegging with those heavyweight names.

Now she is heading out on the road, backed by her band to play in full many of the songs which fans across social media have only heard snippets off. One of these will be her new single, Ant Song which she describes as ‘a celebration of the unconditional tenderness, intimacy, and joy that comes from being in love. aleksiahs hope is that her music will give people a warm and giddy feeling inside.

They then doubled down, handpicking her as their Unearthed choice for the Wayville edition of Groovin the Moo 2023.
