Accelerate – Performance Making (16 -18yrs)

Choose your own adventure; storytelling style. Want to write a monologue? A song from scratch? Got an idea for a play? A web series? A poem? If you’ve got a story, we’ve got a workshop for you. Join independent artist Lucy Heffernan and find your creative voice… however you want it to sound. Learn how to create work at your own pace, in whatever form takes your fancy!

Lucy Heffernan is an actor, theatre maker and singer songwriter living in Sydney. Whether it be re-imaginging Shakespeare as banging pop musicals, creating a web series while confined to her apartment in lockdown, or making solo performance about being a unicorn (true story LOL), Lucy is passionate about creative story telling. '

Workshops run every Thursday from 12th May to 30th June 5pm to 7pm. Registration is required - sign up any time! Workshops will run from May through to November across three rounds.

All young people aged 16 to 18 are encouraged to take part and no prior experience is required.
