AAC//107 is a monthly showcase of progressive, experimental and thoughtful local music, presented by Art As Catharsis, 107 and City of Sydney.
This month we have:
- Instrumental, adj. (progressive, polyrhythmic "metal?")
- HELU (debut performance - featuring members of Squat Club, Anti Guitar Trio, Facemeat, etc)
Doors 8pm, entry is $15.
As always, kids under 18 get in free.
Featuring members of Plini, this band conjures complex polyrhythmic shapes from beyond the void.
This is utterly unique progressive music influenced by King Crimson, Animals As Leaders, Bill Frisell, and Mark Guliana.
Helu is an aural ritual performed by Evan McGregor on drums, Josh Ahearn on bass and David Sattout on guitar.
