The Chambermaids are one of Australia’s premiere chamber music groups and are the perfect introduction to the wind family. An uplifting and fun performance in which the musicians play wind instruments both familiar and foreign, including flute, clarinet, bassoon, French horn and the noisy hosepipe horn. This bright and bubbly quintet perform varied and engaging repertoire, ranging from Disney’s Aladdin to a new Australian wind quintet piece by Elena Kats-Chernin, excerpts from Pirates of the Caribbean, and Klezmer folk music.
