Paint your own ceramic Christmas Ornament

Paint your very own ceramic Christmas ornament in this one hour workshop, run by experienced artist and ceramicist Jessica Ellis.

Jessica will guide you through creating a design for your ornament, and applying colourful ceramic paints (underglazes) to make your Christmas ornament come to life! Your ornament will be clear glazed by Jessica and fired after the workshop, making it a lasting keepsake for many Christmas's to come!

The ornament you will be painting is a flat, hanging disc in the shape of a bauble, with a hole ready for hanging on your tree. There will be a range of brightly coloured underglazes to choose from to paint your ornament. Once glazed and fired the ornament will be glossy, durable, and washable! The ornaments will be ready to collect the week following the workshop.

There are three sessions to choose from and bookings are encouraged:
10:30am - 11:30am
12:00pm - 1:00pm
1:30pm - 2:30pm

The ticket price is $25 and includes all materials and instruction to decorate one ceramic ornament, as well as the glazing and firing.
There is also a discounted ticket option for two ornaments - this can be for one person to paint both, or for two people to paint one each :)

This workshop is suitable for ages 10 and up. Children younger than 10 are welcome, but must be accompanied by a supervising adult for the duration of the workshop.
