Hailing from the Blue Mountains west of Sydney, singer-songwriter Oliver Downes will launch his debut 4-track EP 'at the end' on August 16th at 107 Projects with support from Deepsea Lights. Taking his cue from artists as diverse as Leonard Cohen, St Vincent, Kate Bush and Radiohead, Downes mixes soaring melodies, percussive piano and precise lyrical musings to create pop songs that are by turns melancholy, uplifting and opaque.
