Assemblage II sees twelve artists create new works in response to a set of physical and
digital artefacts discarded by artists during the Underbelly Arts Lab last year.
Using an absurd
system, called the rules of assemblage, the project is a game of call and response in which
participating artists extend, expand, unpack and negotiate the given materials and limitations
across physical and digital platforms.
