The Artists

Ben Fink & Mark Eliott

Mark (saxophones) and Ben (vocals, guitar, mandolin) have been playing together for over 25 years, in many varying groups and guises, and over the years have developed an almost telepathic musical connection.

In recent times most of their musical collaboration has been in the duo format, exploring everything from folk, latin, gypsy, jazz, pop idioms and everything in between, including improvising songs on the spot.

They have built a strong and loyal local following at a residency at Bronte Belo cafe, where once a month the whole community comes to listen, sing and even dance their hearts away.

Ben has been involved in the Australian independent music scene for many years, working with acts such as The Whitlams, The Stiff Gins, Brett Hunt, Lior, Waiting for Guiness and King Clam.

Mark presents his artistry to the world in many forms alongside music including glass blowing and animation.

Spindles

Sometimes feelings become so strong that they demand physical space - for guitar strings to oscillate, vocal cords to vibrate, stereocilia to reverberate.

Spindles plays music to inhabit feelings of love, grief, revolution and cosmic wonderment.

You are warmly welcome to share these spaces.

Callum Wylie

Callum Wylie crosses the paths of folk and country music, mending and breaking hearts in equal measure with the sincerity of his lyrics and the sparseness of his guitar playing.

After several years of playing shows on and off culminating with a successful East Coast tour with the critically acclaimed Ahern Brothers, he returned to the studio to create his follow up release to 2016’s Tomorrow Sun.

After a handful of sessions with Andrew Beck at Riversong Studios on the Central Coast, Callum walked out with a four track EP titled Listen (as well as the makings of a follow up album).

Listen captures the sincere and warm Americana sound that Wylie has become known for, and is a clear sign of growth from his previous releases.
