Smith & Jones

Bathurst’s iconic and beloved country duo Smith & Jones are made up of keyboard player and vocalist Abby Smith, with guitarist and vocalist Sophie Jones.

Though classified as alt-country, their goal has never been to remain within the confines of any genre, preferring to let their sound and their songs take them where they will. Nowhere does this desire for individuality shine brighter then on their newly released second album ‘Something Worth Learning’.

Smith & Jones’ first album, ‘Dark Gives Way’, released in 2017, was extremely well received with its first three singles; ‘Baby Blue’, ‘Small Town Woman’ and ‘Your Achin’ Heart’, all went to number one on the internet’s Australian Country Radio charts and received airplay around the country.

Andy Nelson

Andy Nelson is a singer songwriter hailing from Bathurst in Central Western NSW. In 2015 at the age of 32 Andy began sharing his music with audiences. Andy sings from the heart with a soulful honest voice influenced by the likes of Ray Lamontagne & Sam Beam. With his poetic stories of love, loss and family striking a chord with all who listen.

The Safety of Life at Sea

The Safety of Life at Sea return to FFS with their distinctly vintage vibe inspired by blues, soul and the classic songwriters of the 60s and 70s. The rhythm section takes a leaf out of the books of Stax and Motown, and the piano went for a weekend in New Orleans and never really came back. Their second album Foxy’s Farm was released in 2017.

Beer and wine will be available to purchase and there will be fresh hot pastizzis in the oven!

Tickets are $20 on the door or $15 each when purchased in advance online. Students/concessions are $10 with ID.
