Larrikins proposes the larrikin as a uniquely Australian mode of resistance, exploring an aesthetics of larrikinism. In place of the small-minded and mean-spirited wash of conservative Australia, we find an affable yet incisive humour, a call to pause and ask ourselves why things are the way they are, and how else they could be. What might a non-conservative Australia look like?
