We are delighted to invite you to Untitled.Showa - Journey and Outcomes, in partnership and as part of Head On Photo Festival 2021.
What you will experience:
We will take you on the journey of this interactive project which took place in Sydney, Geelong, Kyoto and Adelaide through 2021. After finding packets of small black and white vintage photographs created in Japan in a flea market and traced to Geelong, Victoria, we held exhibitions to 'Help Us Return Them' to the families, photographer(s) or an archive. This presentation will take you on the journey, showing you the complexities of our hard work and the outcomes of our quest. It is a very human story about the power of photography.
