The Gallery (E1 & E2)
107’s ground floor exhibition space is split into two: E1 and E2. These two open plan spaces are programmed with exhibitions and creative happenings in two week blocks by application twice a year.
Our application program has a focus on diversity and inclusivity. Applications are assessed by 107 staff, volunteers and fellow creatives, with shows and events selected on the basis of artistic merit and overall fit with the 107 ethos.

Performance Space (E3)
This flexible performance/screening/exhibition space is tucked next to the open exhibition spaces, adjacent to 107 Social.

What it lacks in size, it makes up for in charm. No, that’s not real-estate speak – 107’s tiniest exhibition space has hosted everything from sneaky ceramics to a digital dance party. Located at the front of the building on Redfern Street, this unusual exhibition opportunity offers massive exposure and 24/7 viewing.

The Conference Room & Rooftop Garden (U1 & U2)
The two rooftop spaces are available for hire together.
The rooftop garden has been made possible through a partnership with Milkwood Permaculture. With an army of dedicated volunteers and a lot of ingenuity, an empty bare courtyard was transformed into a verdant roof-top garden.
It’s a tranquil breakout space for our humans, and a buzzing, humming wonderland for our fish, worms and bees. It inspires collaboration between the environmental and the arts, all revolving around the shared belief in sustainability.
U1 is a light filled air conditioned room suitable for presentations, gatherings, workshops and discussions. U1 opens directly onto the rooftop garden for a quiet break away or alternative meeting space.
Spending the day? We can offer a delicious, healthy catering package to keep the brain alert. From scrumptious sandwiches to fresh juices and salads, we can tailor to any budget.

Out the Back is our informal meeting space, perfect for community groups and classes. Access to high speed wifi and a shared kitchenette.

Upstairs at 107 we have subsidised open plan office spaces available for small creative businesses. Featuring plenty of natural light, power outlets, free wifi*, and shared with other brilliant creative business minds, it is the perfect place to blitz those administrative goals!
Starting at $86.60 per week inclusive of GST for one space (3.4 square meters) with the option for 1, 1.5 or 2 space allocations per business.
Licence duration: 6 months or 1 year with the option to renew

Need some short term desk space to focus on delivering a creative project? 107 offers hot-desk space within the upstairs offices for exactly that! (and any other reason you may desire a short term desk space at a creative hub.) There are plenty of power outlets and free wifi* for your computing needs.
Hot-desk spaces (approx. 1.1m wide) are $50 a week inclusive of GST.

107 has a large area dedicated to practitioners of all forms of creativity. The studios are best suited to those who don’t need to use heavy machinery, or jack hammers, as it’s all open plan.
The residency program offers a 50% subsidy off commercial rent rates for artists. The spaces are roughly 3x3m and are able to be shared by up to 2 people.
The workshop, run by The Bower, is suitable as a project building space accessed from the rear of the building off Turner St. Also useful as a space for running hands-on practical classes, the room has plenty of power outlets and work benches for use with power tools.
