JOYNTON AVENUE CREATIVE PROGRAM

Our Joynton Avenue Creative Program offers opportunities to play, learn and connect through a curated program of arts, music, makerspaces and educational workshops.

Throughout the year, get involved in regular printmaking and filmmaking workshops, school holiday robotics and coding for kids, and fortnightly creative hangouts.

Join us for the last Friday of each month for a series of social nights, featuring live jazz, Art Somewhere and more. See our full program of events in our What’s On calendar.

Art Somewhere

Every fortnight

Art Somewhere is a creative hangout where all levels and abilities are invited to experiment and learn creative practices in a non-structured teaching environment.

We provide the materials, the space and the support to allow you to try out new things in a friendly and safe place. Everyone is welcome! Head to full program

Risograph Printing

Monthly

Risograph printing is a fast, affordable way of producing high-quality prints.

Learn the art of Risograph printing with 107 Residents The Rizzeria, including essential information on colours, layouts and print areas. Then get creative making your own posters, notebooks, collages or paper crafts with the help of the team. Head to full program

Makers Play Lab

School Holidays

Inspiring the next generation of creative collaborators and innovative problem-solvers for a rapidly changing world. Makers Play Lab is a design and digital play lab for young makers to explore the possibilities of creation, imagination and collaboration through STEAM (Science. Technology. Engineering. Arts. Film Hackathons

Quarterly

Teaming up with Spineless Wonders and 107 Residents Story Mill and Jamie Gray, learn the craft of filmmaking in a 2 day hackathon. Teaching you all the foundations of story structure, filming techniques and post-production, you’ll be armed with the confidence and tools to keep telling stories through film. Head to full program
