Zine Making Class with The Rizzeria

LOCATION: The Rizzeria, Joynton Avenue Creative Centre, 3a Joynton Ave, Zetland

This 90-minute workshop focusses on zine making. Zines are a low tech, low cost way of self-publishing a small edition of images or texts around a theme.
We will look at examples of zines, then at folding and binding options and how to create a template. We will then make a quick test print together on the risograph.

Following the workshop each participant has one week to draw, write or collage a mini-zine and send the files to the Rizzeria.
Each zine will be printed in one or two colours on the risograph and each participant will be posted their edition of 10 copies.

Note: This booking package includes the in person workshop and the printing and posting of your A6 size two colour zine after the workshop.

We are located a 10 minute walk from Green Square Station, or there is limited on-street parking in the surrounding streets.

• If you are unwell or display COVID-symptoms, tickets can be swapped for a future workshop (minimum 48 hours notice), or transferred to a friend
