JeSTAR Theatre Holiday Workshop

JeSTAR Theatre
A place to imagine, create, have fun, be a star! The Theatre is exclusively designed for young people interested in acting, performing and self-expressing.

Activities focus on developing:

• Confidence
• Creativity
• Public speaking skills
• Clear speech and diction
• Voice projection skills
• Freedom of movement
• Self-expression

Dates:

• Wednesday 14/4 - 9am - 1:00pm
• Thursday 15/4 - 9am - 1:00pm
• Friday 16/4 - 9am - 1:00pm

Children will be divided into age groups and will be demonstrating their skills and talents through fun acting games and interactive activities.
They will participate in exciting process of creating and staging their own plays. At the end of the workshop all groups will perform on stage.

What to bring:
Wear comfortable clothes and comfortable shoes.
Bring a small morning tea and plenty of water.

Drop off and pick up:
The director will be outside the venue 8:50 - 9:00am to greet and collect the children and 1:00 - 1:15 pm to dismiss.
There is no need to look for parking unless you arrive after 9am.

How much does it cost?
One day booking - $50 per person
Three days booking - $120 per person

About the director: Anna Maylis has 20+ years of experience as a drama teacher and she is the founder of several Theatre studios in the Eastern Suburbs.
