Ableton User Group: Deconstructing Live Sets & Link Jam

TYPE: WORKSHOP

WHEN: 11.30am-1.30pm – 9 Oct 2016

COST: DONATION

The Ableton User Group Sydney invites you to join us for creative tips, tricks and insights from Jarrol and Ross (The Goods) and Hamish and George (Cliques).

Jarrol and Ross from The Goods will deconstruct one of the beats from their album and talk about how they put it together and how they reproduce it live. They will also demonstrate Link and improvising both over loops and free form.

Hamish and George from Cliques will be opening up one of the tracks from their recent EP with UK label TEMPA and discussing their unique approach to drum programming.

Be there to hear first hand how these highly creative Live gurus go about recording and performing with Live.

To participate in a live Link jam, bring your laptop/mobile device. We will have five Push 2's available to hook up to laptops. If you don't want to play, that's fine - great opportunity to network with fellow local producers.

Entry is free, but we ask for a gold coin donation on the day to help us with setup expenses. RSVP is essential.
