Social Inclusion Week 2017, St Vincent de Paul Society NSW’s Ability Links and 107 present: Tea & Talk – Social Infusion.

Ability Links is celebrating Social Inclusion Week 2017 with a FREE Access All Areas Film Festival at 107 in Redfern.

***Spaces for the film screening and hip-hop class are limited. Please RSVP to Lizzie Blue and discuss any access requirements: elizabeth.blue@vinnies.org.au or 0428 933 805

107 is wheelchair accessible, all films will have open captions, and slightly lower levels of sound and higher levels of light in the screening room. A chill-out/quiet space is available - providing access for people with autism and sensory processing differences.

A local Deaf café Hand Me a Coffee will take over the café space and folks can learn how to order a coffee in Auslan.

Groove Therapy will run an inclusive, feel-good hip-hop dance class, Good Games Town Hall will be bringing along some board games, and there will be free tea and conversation to connect, collaborate and celebrate with community, thanks to Tippity.

Ability Links NSW is a free NSW Government initiative promoting inclusion in the community. Linkers work in two ways; by supporting people with disabilities, their families and carers to fulfil their dreams and goals, and by linking with businesses and organisations in the community to make shared spaces physically and socially accessible.
