Alice Terry sounds like she's had three husbands and killed them all.
Christine Jane’s unique sound is self-described as ‘cinematic blues’. She has been compared to artists who share her love of storytelling, darkness and the enigma of song such as Nick Cave, Cat Power, Beck, Feist, Fiona Apple, and Neil Finn.
Stephanie Cherote is an Australian singer/songwriter and poet. Sheltering a deep connection between lyric and melody, she shepherds your ear into a secreted layer of insight. The songs unleash from the guts of her elegant wit and sophisticated song arrangement. Glimpses of imagery and metaphor strike gently through cinematic storytelling and the commanding gravity of her voice, a wildfire of 60s inflections and womanly echoes of Lee Hazlewood & Leonard Cohen... Stephanie has spent the last couple of years living in New York City and travelling far and wide penning her debut album. She is currently in the studio bringing these songs to life with a twelve-piece orchestra. Her debut album will be released January 2018.
