Musical Island: A Silent Spell

The all-singing, all-dancing inhabitants of Musical Island are under threat from the tragically misunderstood Queen of Silence, as she hatches a plan to prevent the lyrical larrikin Prince Major from writing any more of his meddling merry melodies! It falls to Princess Minor and her ragtag rabble of musical mates to rescue Prince Major, and save Musical Island from a sinister silence…

About the Artist

Author & director Natalia Mitzikis has been working as a musician, composer, producer and writer in Russia and Sydney, Australia for nearly two decades.

“I had an idea to write a fable story about the power of music. As music reflects people’s lives and emotions. The presence of music is perceived through what we are and what we feel.”

Being a pianist and songwriter inspired Natalia to write stories about music in an engaging manner. Encouraged by local community support, Natalia founded MAGIC SOUNDS Theatre Production Studio in Sydney – a space to create, learn and improvise.
